2 Your BBB in the News Injured Soldiers Hand Assemble Holiday Greeting CardsThis time of year, many people send holiday greeting cards to family, friends, colleagues and clients. A Colorado Springs based company has hired some injured soldiers, who are trying to transition back into the workforce, to put the cards together.

“We did a training session to see how it would work and it actually worked out very well and wounded warriors are doing a super job,” said Chris Washko, Photographer’s Edge President. The Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado and Photographer’s Edge have teamed up to offer unique holiday cards. Soldiers hand assemble them using pre-printed card frames and scenic pictures of southern Colorado.

“This is a wonderful project. It’s a win-win for everybody,” said Katie Carrol with the Better Business Bureau. A portion of each card sold will go to help wounded warriors and high school students who may not be able to afford a college education.
